A young man's idyllic life is upended when everything he knows and loves is violently taken from him. He must navigate his life virtually alone and work to restore his self-worth and make his life make sense once again. WARNING: GRAPHIC AND VIOLENT CONTENT.
Trown is set in 2103, after the lifting of a 28-year quarantine of the United Kingdom due to a virus that is made more virulent by teletransportation, which has become the only mode of transportation for long-distance travel. The U.K. is collectively still angry with what is now known as the United States and Countries after years of global expansion during the quarantine that decimated the U.K.’s population, economy, and standing in the world, as well as leaving them technologically behind. A U.K. politician and his secret organization intend to restore the British Empire to the powerful global entity it was in the past by wreaking havoc on the U.S.C. and taking back what he feels they took. He will stop at nothing to achieve his goals.
A successful but unfulfilled former American diplomat and soldier, now a corporate executive, declines to be called back into action to help investigate and stop the disappearances of noted Americans, and British citizens who oppose the politician’s views. For personal reasons, including his ill mother and his recent marriage, he declines calls from top U.S.C. officials, until his own life is impacted by the actions of the U.K. organization, which spurs him into action. He discovers his nemesis has stolen a powerful new weapon that a single person could use to almost single-handedly reshape geo-political maps.
Dealing with personal loses and his own self-doubts he must stop the organization and the man at the head of it before they can complete their goal.
